Building a Robust Digital Presence for Ellystrated

Introduction

This case study narrates the collaboration between Ellystrated, a branding company, and Between Collective, focusing on designing and developing a sophisticated website. Ellystrated sought to create an online presence that reflects its brand ethos and offerings. My involvement as a Strategist and Account Manager was central to this project, driving the website's strategy, development, and ensuring seamless client coordination.

Problem

Ellystrated needed a dynamic and engaging website to showcase its branding expertise and attract potential clients. The challenge was to develop a site that was not only aesthetically pleasing and reflective of Ellystrated's brand identity but also easy for the team to update and manage, accommodating their evolving portfolio and content.

Challenge

The main challenge was to design and develop a website that balanced innovative design with user-friendly functionality. It was crucial to understand the client's vision and requirements deeply and translate them into a digital format that speaks to their audience. Additionally, empowering the Ellystrated team with the ability to manage and update their site efficiently was a key objective.

Solution

  1. Developing User Stories and Site Map: Initiated the project by creating detailed user stories to understand the needs and behaviors of the target audience. Developed a comprehensive site map that outlined the website's structure, ensuring a logical flow and intuitive user experience.
  2. Managing Creative Team and Developer: Coordinated closely with the creative team and web developers, ensuring that all design and functional elements were aligned with the client's vision and brand strategy. Facilitated regular meetings and feedback sessions to maintain a cohesive development process.
  3. Client Management: Acted as the primary point of contact for Ellystrated, ensuring all their needs and concerns were addressed promptly. Maintained a transparent and collaborative relationship, keeping the client informed and involved throughout the project.
  4. Webflow Training for Client: Provided comprehensive training to the Ellystrated team on using Webflow, a no-code platform. Ensured they were comfortable and confident in managing the website post-launch, making updates, and utilizing all features effectively.
